Ibstock bought by the private equity firm Bain Capital

The private equity firm Bain Capital Europe has bought the clay and concrete companies Ibstock, Forticrete and Supreme Concrete from CRH. The £414m generated by this sale will be used by CRH for “general corporate purposes”.
